Hi all,

Finally had some time to take my new digitcal cam out and play around...went to the L.A. County Fair and watched a little horse racing.

Shot at F4, 1/800th with an Olympus C-4000 (4 MegaPixel). Please let me know what you think!

wow!!! ... great action shots :D ... crisp and clear, colors very vivid, gotta love that Olympus

the only thing i don't really like about this shot is that the back horse is "growing out of" the one in front. I also realize the extreme difficulty in avoiding this at a horse race tho. great stop of the action.

great pic. I love how the first horse has no feet on the ground! And the motion is wonderful. A great success. Convert it to black and white and set the contrast a little higher while bringing down the overall brightness.

Love it, Chase! :)

As much as I love B&W, I think this works best in color....really enhances the sheen on the horse's coats and the vibrant colors on the jockeys. A great high-energy action shot!
