A couple of the challenges I had to deal with were an uninspired location and an unorganized schedule. I'm sure this is common and I'll encounter it all the more as I shoot subsequent weddings. The most interesting location of the day was the room in which the groomsmen were getting ready.

Quick comment, a little to much DOF in the first shot makes it so you don't get the sense of the groom being in the background.

But nice job making lemonade

Try shooting wide next time. Try to tell a story.

I was also working with a 24mm lens, but most of the spaces were small and cluttered or big, poorly lit, and uninteresting. I'm never sure whether I should take charge and say, "clean this rat hole up!" It seems like the bride shouldn't have the stress of a pushy photographer. Then again, does she want good photos? It's a struggle for sure.
