A few from this weekend.

Attended a photo conference this weekend and heard Peter Hurley and Dave Black speak. Learned a bunch and got to try out some really nice glass and photograph some models.

I got to try out a few Zeiss lenses at the trade show. I really like the glass and can see why it is talked about but man did I struggle with the manual focus. Would take some serious practice for me.

Both nights after the keynote speakers finished, some of us got to go with the models to shoot outdoor night sessions. Here are some images.

1) Canon 7Dmk II and 50mm f/1.8. Lite with an LED ring light and a gelled LED from behind.


2) Canon 7Dmk II with 85mm f/1.8 and a speedlight and shoot through umbrella.



3) Canon 7Dmk II with 85mm f/1.8 and a streaklight 360 with 38" octabox.
