So on Thursday, I pulled the trigger and traded one of my Canon 1Dx camera's to move into the mirrorless world with the Canon R6. I took it out that night and shot basketball with it and was impressed.
But I had a portrait session scheduled for Saturday evening and was needing some practice before hand. Luckily, I had a friend that was doing a session on Friday night and was nice enough to let me tag along and shoot as well.
Here are a few from that night. Gear used, Canon R6, control ring, Canon EF-85mm f/1.8, and we used FJ 400's and FJ 200's for lighting from Westcott. We used a blue gel and a red gel on the first three and just a dome on an FJ200 for the Christmas lights. I wanted the warm, friends like feel to the first ones.
