Spent a lot of time shooting this weekend, had a great time. Ok, the first couple came from a note in the suggestion box:

I had to disregard a lot of the other notes in the suggestion box. A few of them turned out to be anatomically impossible. Lol

Got another sandhill crane shot I rather liked:

This one's for Barb:

Also discovered that Pelican's apparently do play peekaboo:

Ooooo stretching Kitteh.

For some reason I expected a gorilla when I opened this thread :P.. All really great shots, but just love #4 & #5.. Bee-utiful details on the feathers, gorgeous shot & the crane looks he's late for office :D.
A question, for self learning & not C&C; does #4 look a bit on the warm side? I have been trying to learn the difference lately.

Cool Pelican shot.
You know, if you look around, zoo's normally have maps showing where you are? They DO show the exits....
Although after seeing your avatar, if you ever tried to leave, you would probably find yourself getting tranquilized. :biglaugh:

My pick are the last 3, particularly the Pelican -- great capture! Lee

Honestly it could be, I don't use a calibrated monitor (my comptuer "screen" is actually 2x42 inch TV's), and generally I just adjust till stuff "looks right". Not the most scientific method I must admit.. lol. I'll take a look at it on the laptop tonight and see if maybe it doesn't look a little on the warm side there.

how many threads have you started titled: a few more from the weekend?

when everyone keeps titling threads in this manner the brain gets very confused.

A couple at least. Would a more standardized naming convention work for you? Perhaps 20141304 followed by the GPS coordinates of each included shot? Lol

yes, thank you!

The problem is, if you just continue to add photo's to an existing thread, many people who already commented or at least viewed the thread, won't come back to see the new posts.
