Was at a friends house over Christmas and saw this bunch of flowers, I'm not sure on the type of flower but I think it looks rather nice

Was at home, cooking Christmas dinner and I wondered if the rabbit would eat the sprout or if he would stay clear like I do, made a nice pic I think.

Just as a side note photo 1 was taken with my digital camera and number 2 was taken with my iPhone, quite amazed at the quality of the iPhone.

To be critical, you've cropped in slightly too close on 1, losing the top of the flower, and the pollen on the bottom petals looks somewhat messy to me. I also feel the image maybe has a slightly green tint, but I may be imagining it.
2. Yes, very good quality for an iphone, but again, I'm not happy with the framing, by all means you can choose to have the rabbit out of the top right hand side of the frame, but with so much foreground and left hand side (and it's not pretty), it feels unbalanced. Maybe crop off the bottom and the left and it would work better?
But it is all a matter of opinion...

I wouldn't swear it but I think the flower is an Alstromeria. I couldn't find one with dark anthers like that so I can't be certain.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the info on the flower, I had no idea on what type it was.

#2 looks like a Manaheim nightmare

You're welcome - I'm a hort student, so flower mysteries need to die.

That said, I personally prefer a warmer, brighter tint to my flower photos. Yours is nicely composed, I think, except for losing that tiny tip at the top, and I like the pollen because it makes the flower look "real," but it seems unnecessarily dim.

Bunny is cute, but needs the rest of his head! :)

In the first photo, I am almost blinded by the light coming in through the window. Maybe close the curtains, or hang a sheet in front of it to diffuse the light a bit. Or shoot with a different background. I do like the flower though. Nice subject.

As said already, the head is missing off of the rabbit, and maybe a little over exposed on the highlights. Cute bunny!
