I went to the Manatee Viewing Center for the first time today and it's still too warm for the manatees, I only saw the tail of one baby manatee but it's my 1st pic of one.

2 My first Yellow-crowned Night Heron!

3 My first cormorants also! Not a bad day for 1st's I guess.

I'm definitely going back when it gets colder and the manatees are in numbers and not hiding.

Great set Kirk - #2 definitely for me. First time I've ever seen a Yellow-crowned Night Heron. Nice looking bird - beautiful eye.
