How do you all add simple effects like vignetting to photos in Photoshop CS?

How do you normally edit portraits and landscapes?? Currently I just adjust levels and curves, usually saturate some colors and use the healing brush...im not to savy on PS yet

the way i do vignetting: add new layer > make black with paint bucket tool > make square selection (on new layer) some 20/40/100/whatever pixels smaller than your picture > feather > delete

You can google almost anything you ever want to do ni photoshop. I have to do it all the time. We can help ya a lot, but sometimes googling what you are trying to do will bring up lots of methods and stuff to read.
