#2 could use a better composition
#3 you clipped his butt.

overall the pictures aren't doing much for me. they look like just snapshots.
for portraits you may want to use shallow DOF to make the subject pop

well the thing is, im just starting photography, ive onl had my camera for about a month and i only have that, no extra flashes or anything, ive only been using natural light. secondly, i dont like making people pose for photos, i like capturing everyday life, its just more genuine and interesting to me
