a few small birds

Here's four pics from today, all had to be shot very quickly as these birds do not like to stay still for longer than half a second so there wasn't a ton of thought behind them but i like how they came out. Editing is minimal ( i have no editing software, so i just pushed "quick retouch" or "D lighting" on my d60 where necessary ). The first and last are my favorites, please say what you like, and what i can do to improve, thanks.

Is that a Chicadee? My fav is the last one...I'm a big fan of DOF with not a lot else around. It is hard to capture these little guys...I think I also only have one shot where you can see the eye!!!

Nice! You really succeeded well with focusing. I like the frosty colors too.
Some of the branches are a bit disturbing, though. I know it's kinda hard to get a cleaner shot.
