I stumbled upon this site today, and joined up. Just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is kevin focht, and i have been shooting fashion/beauty for over 25 years. I own my own studio and also love to share.

Here are a few shots from a recent shoot i did in NYC for a client i have had for years.

Welcome... nice posing chair. I am not sure if I like the processing though. I like the last one the best (even with the processing).

The posing chair was actually two coffee tables. As for the processing, this is fashion and not a portrait. I have been shooting long enough to know that not everyone will like my work, and I am ok with that. My parents think my stuff is strange, so it's ok if you don't like it.

I can remember in art school, one of my favorite instructors once said "never say you hate something, maybe you just don't understand it." I have always tried to follow that mantra, when I didn't like someones work.

And then sometimes we do understand it and hate it even more, only with "feeling". (meaning not yours, I like your pics.)
