Love the sky! I would have moved the horizon down a bit towards the bottom thirds line to give a bit more"play" to that great sky. I would have placed the bottom of the picture just below the "rocks" at the bottom of the picture, rather than have the horizon right in the middle which is not the best place for it.

Normally, I would agree with the above comment on the placement of the horizon, but here I like what you've done. It gives a sense of depth, that's accentuated by the striated sand.

Thanks for commenting guys, very much appreciated, I agree about placing horizons dead center but on this image I liked the placement of the foreground rocks and certainly the striations in the sand along with the warm tones which counter Balance the blues in the sky, which I do agree is an amazing sky thanks again for looking and commenting guys

I agree about the composition: the striations in the sand are necessary, I feel, to give texture and a sense of movement. Otherwise, a picture like this can look too flat and smooth.

And might I add, damn you for the earworm!
