A flower picture my mom took

So my mom is not into photography, usually just family snapshots and stuff, but she sent me a few she took of the yard, and I liked this one.... what do you think?

I really like the way most of the frame is darker, but the flower is in light. It's really pretty!

I like the composition--it's great. The photo has a novel method of isolating the main subject without manipulating the depth-of-field. It works very well.

Well, with a son like yourself, what else can she do but learn and get better and better. This one's near to perfect, I'd say. It IS perfect! Wonderful photo.
