A good Nikon>Canon body trade...

So I recently switched over to Canon and was going to keep my D80 as a back-up, but it just makes more sense (less gear) to have my back-up be a Canon as well.

My plan is to try and find someone that would like to trade. Would a 40D be a pretty equal trade for a D80? Thanks

It'd be a pretty good trade for the guy getting the 40D.

 

I decided it would just be easier to sell my gear first, and then see what I can get with the money. It looks like the a used 40D is a little over $100 more than the D80.

The 30D is a fairer trade for a D80 in my opinion. The 40D has a few more features and better ISO performance than the D80. The 30D is still a great camera though and would make an excellent backup.
