A good Nikon macro

I want to start shooting true macro and I wonder if anyone could recommend a good all around Nikon lens that I could really get some great close shots with?

I agree with everything he said, just another thing to add. The Sigma 150 macro is pretty good too and gives you more working distance than the previous two. I have a Sigma 105 and I love it, it's very sharp. I've also heard really great things about the Tamron.
