A Hawk on the Wing

Had a young hawk be a willing subject one day and I captured these pics

I was shooting a Canon 10D with a Canon EF 100-400 L IS USM hand held on a nice bright afternoon

Wow, you lucky person!! You got some nice angles, and nice 'n close pics. The lighting was good too...backlit the feathers in several shots. I like 'em all, but that third last one especially

He was circling between 40 to 55 yards up.
