TAMRON | SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD
There seems to be a lot of hype about how great this lens is and seems to be mostly true according reviews from users and from what i have seen it renders gorgeous IQ and sharper than Nikon and Canon equivalent at much lower cost..Its built like a tank @ 805G and weather sealed also the locking button release lens hood is a nice touch as well.

Make sure your camera(s) can use the electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism this lens uses. That is what Nikon calls an E type AF lens.

It will be on The D750

I have a friend with a 35mm 1.4G -- I've offered to buy it a few times, but it's always so much $$$$. This might give the Nikon a good run for its money. But I don't like the size/weight on the Tamron looking at the specs. 800g vs 600g and ~102mm vs. 90mm. But the MTF (SHARP!) and sample images do look amazing.

I really like that focal length for shooting indoors and it still does a great job with portraits, even up-closes. For me it seems like a natural focal length, where my 58mm doesn't seem to match the FOV of my eyes and gets a little tight.

Yeah no doubt it's a heavy beast of a lens.I guess its that all metal housing with all the elements slapped in there. The Nikon is significantly lighter but significantly more expensive as well.
