2011_0104 twice-floured chicken breast meat. Brined in water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar, chili powder. Drained of brine, soaked in a wash of one beaten jumbo egg (from a chicken!!!) and some half and half, then dredged with flour, garlic powder, chili powder, pepper;
re-dipped in the egg wash, then
re-dredged a second time.
Double-floured, so it's NICE and crispy when fried!!!
Mmmmm...I make awesome homemade chicken strips! Deep fried in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes, as needed, depending on thickness, desired crispiness,etc.
