I know what EV is on the camera. As mentioned before, we do things differently. What you expose for and what I expose for are two different things. It's like with your pic of the two horses, you exposed for the light on their faces which made everything else appear dark and under exposed, including the bg. Whereas, I would've exposed for the darker parts so everything didn't appear underexposed with little or no detail. You aren't wrong for doing things the way you like and neither am I. Besides, this is just a hobby for me, I'm not taking any picture taking too serious. I just want to enjoy taking pictures and posting them without a lot of fuss.
