A Peacock!

Went to Kawau Island yesterday and found this fella. He didn't seem to mind us at all, which is fortunate because I only had my 18-55mm lens, and the kid that went with us was being slightly annoying and getting a bit too close. C&C is welcome!

I like the second one. Not to fond of the first one just because of the background, but I'm sure there was nothing that could be done about that.

I like the first one because of the background!
It does need straightened and possibly perpective correction (just a tad).

Thanks! I leveled the first one, but it still seemed a bit crooked. I guess the perspective was throwing me off.

they are really nice. I remember when I was younger and my family went to a zoo they had peacocks walking all over the little picnic area they had and it was cool to see some of the guys showing off their tail feathers.
