A Philosopher

An elder gentlemen was working in the creek arranging the rocks. The water was quite cold, but he did not seem to care. I walked into the creek, asked him what was he doing and whether I can take a photo of him. He answered: "No matter how I put the rocks, water always flows by!"
Yes, he is a philosopher.

Well thank you for your suggestion. I only took me 100mm prime lens and the guy was in the middle of the creek so I had trouble getting closer.
Anyway, I cropped the photo, hopefully that would make it less boring.

Well, regardless of how the photo turned out, it's a great story. Sounds like a guy I would like to spend a few hours with over a cup of coffee or a few beers.

I really preffer the cropped version, But may I suggest even a bit tighter crop??? I ran it through Gimp and added a bit of sharpening as well.

Cool guy, I'll try and remember his saying! We should all have quotes from our parents or people we run into that follow us in life, whether we currently understand them or not. At one point we will see the meaning of the words.. That said, his words sort of apply to me own life, not that I will go into that
