Not sure where this is or anything, but it bothers me that the elbows are chopped. Its also very centered.

This is from my Home, A Small Idol of a Hindu God, Took it from my Macro Lens..., As you said, I just noticed the elbow chop..., WIll try to take few shots from another angle n will post it.., Thanks friend :)

is it a macro of a chocolate?

Its a Macro of a Hindu deity " Lord Shiva".., The Idol was small, may be jus 2 inch tall.

Looks dark and underexposed.

It looks like most of it is OOF. You were probably going for the blurred background but even the shoulders on the subject look fuzzy.

Even a dark photo can be dynamic. Something I've recently learned is to make my photos have interestingness and depth. Sometimes that's really hard to do when you're taking a photo because usually you're taking them for you and no one else, but now that I'm trying to sell my work I have to remember that it has to appeal to a larger audience than just myself. In short: I no longer take pictures without serious thinking. I ask myself things like "Does the photo I want to take have proper technique and methods?"

With that said, photography is no fun if your heart and soul isn't into it.

On the more objective things of your photo. I find it lacks depth because of poor lighting. However the subject and the angle/position you took with your camera is kind of neat.

Very Well...., Explained...,

The subject head is a bit out of focus IMO.
