I like this. A lot, but I would to see it brightened a bit, especially in the area of his right eye. Not a lot, but just enough to distinguish detail in that area.

The main part of any portrait is the eyes and that is where the strong weakness in this portrait lies. Better lighting at the camera stage or careful post processing is an absolute requirement for improving this photo.
