A Short Walk on the Praire (lots of pics/dial up beware)

I wanted to show the amount of flowers I found in 20 minutes spent in about 100 yards of eastern Colorado prairie. Many are tiny, some only 1/16 of an inch across. Some of these are better than others of course I mostly wanted a sense of the variety. There were other people out there who seemed surprised when I pointed out that there were flowers blooming. This is only about two thirds of the varieties blooming, some weren't very photogenic.

Many flowers of these are completely unknown to me, and one - I am SURE! - isn't a flower at all!!!!!!
