A tentative hello

Hello, I am recently gotten very into photography and searched around for a good forum to join and stumbled upon this community I'm taking photography at my local community college, and currently have a Nikon D40 and my grandfathers old Nikon F3, which needs to be serviced but I intend to use it a ton once I get it working...I'm a bit daunted at posting some of my pictures since I'm so new at it, but I'm sure I'll get the courage sometime soon. I'm really interested in getting better.
