A tree, ice and water

There was still some ice in Michigan last week, so I took some shots at the lake (walking distance from my friend's house):

GOOD!

After you have been exposed to THAT kind of weather, though (still looks inconceivably COLD to us Germans who we no longer experience any cold winters, unfortunately), I am not surprised to hear you caught cold afterwards!

The yellow of the reeds goes so well together with the light blue of the sky. And that lone tree on the right finishes off your composition!

Love the tones - got a sort of 'chromeness' to it. Feels like i could just step in..

If it were a higher resolution (which i'm assuming you've got) it would make a good desktop i think.

yes, got it in higher res ... as for stepping in. it was still frozen and pretty cold
