A trip to frame the lake front cityscape

Hi,

I and my friends are planning a trip to the Great Lakes. It is a 16-day river voyage. I am planning to take some beautiful wide angle landscape photos of the cities in the lake front view. The adventurous voyage will land us in the following cities 2017 Great American Waterways Cruise | Blount Small Ship Adventures I would great appreciate some suggestions on the best landmarks in the cities.

I will be using mostly wide angle lenses for all the shots. Any advice is welcome.
