Hello all,

Can someone advise me on what's the best way of going about getting A1 size prints from standard 35mm film negatives?

I thought about re-sizing existing images from prints to A1 but I'll loose quality. Does printing A1 from negatives work ok?? Does the quality remain??

I could be way wrong here, because I didn't know what A1 was, so I just did a google search, which if I researched correctly, A1 paper would be 594 mm x 841 mm, which would be about 23.38" x 33.11". Which is very big, probably way too big to get a decent print from a 35mm negative, IMO.

IMO you need to rescan the negatives or a proof print at a high resolution. This may take a few tries to get it right. Don’t forget to write the scan spec down that work for you. 8)
