Small Icon Question

I tried placing a small icon of myself (pic on the right) I just can’t seem to make my photos small enough to be clear enough to view… I follow the instructions, but the small version comes out “eh” and not clear. Can someone help?

You could try sharpening the image before you generate the thumbnail.

In photoshop, its under filter -> sharpen -> sharpen

Then resize your image and it should have a bit better edge definition.
