As you can see in the last photo, I def should've used higher contrast filters on the other set. I used a #4 contrast filter in the stairway, and a 2 on the others.

If the first five accurately depict the prints you're getting with a #2 contrast filter in the enlarger, those negatives are underexposed, underdeveloped or both.

They're very muddy and flat. Of top of that, I just don't see anything to draw me in. They just aren't working for me. Sorry

The contact sheets look OK, so I'm not sure where these ran into trouble, but the prints are flat.

Yeah, looking at the first five compared to the last def. looks flat and muddy. I'm learning as I go..

Choice of frames seems to be OK, they all depict an Apocalypse. Execution of prints was less fortunate, well, learning process. If you gonna have a chance to work with them again just remember, what was in nature white should be white on the picture and if there was ant detail in it should be still visible. That's the base line, they should be in zone 7 and up.

Yeah. Frustrating. I wish I could jump in the dark room right now and fix em', but it's closed till Feb.

A lot of times, something as simple as fouled developer can cause this same muddiness. Check all your chemistries, temps and if your paper is "dated."

I just now looked at each of them closeup (first part of the post) and the bigger issue is a lack of sharp focus...with the exception of the stairwell shot, all are significantly OOF.
