LOVE these! :586:

Is "beer" the (Dutch/German/Flemish??) word for "bear"? (That's the linguist in me, not the photographer, asking :cool-48:). I love the picture - the eye contact and the pose are great.

The penguins look like they're all standing around gossiping, or scheming to do something naughty :)

Abu 6 and the Hamsterslang series kill me dead with the cute! And you did such a great job with the kitties, too.

That is correct, beer is dutch for bear. It's all from Germanic ancestry, words are written differently, but they are spoken out nearly the same way.

I particularly like the ones of the yellow monkeys, you got some nice photos. In some you captured a great expression.

I'd probably think about the contrast in the B&W photos, they seem more gray than black and white - which might be due to a lot of these having a lot of browns and greens etc. that might be similar in tone.

Thank you, i will work on getting better blacks and whites.
