This photo is taken in RAW format, but the eye of the bird is not seen in details. Could you suggest how to make all details clear and distinctive.
Thanks
- I will crop the photo to better frame the subject.
- Adjust the curve to brighten the image.
- Dodge the area around the eye
- Adjust a little of color saturation.
The whole thing is a little "soft." Solutions run like this: use a faster shutter speed, get a higher quality lens (maybe, as you did not state what lens/camera you used). More careful focusing or the use of a smaller f-stop might help, too.
There are some noise on the bird because of the original image was underexposed. So when I adjust the curve and sharpen the image, it brought more noise to the image. I apply the layer mask and blur the background to cut down some noise.
- Cropped the photo
- Dodged the area around eye
- Adjusted curve
- Adjust Saturation
- Sharpening
- Added layer Mask
- Blurred the background on the 2nd layer
- Painted the top layer to show the 2nd layer except the bird
- Applied a little vignette to the image
