Album Screw things

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone here can help, but I hope so.

I have an album that you can add and removed pages in it by the using a small white 'screw'. As we have had it for a while, this screw has now got a bit damaged and I am trying to find a place where I can get a replacement.

Can anyone help?

I doubt anyone here would know what exactly you are talking about and be able to help you since we aren't there to see it...
You should probably take the whole album to a craft store and see if they have any solution to your problem.

Hi Graham, Do a google search on the album's manufacturer and see if you can get replacement screws on that album model. That might be your best bet. Or check out card/gift shops to see if you can find something similar that could fit in there.

I think I know exactly what you are talking about. It is a screw that goes into a threaded post so you can remove and add and also you can extend them so you can add more pages. You should try a store like ritz camera or a photo shop that deals with a pretty big selection of albums. I know for a fact you can buy those seperatley if you can find a store that would actually bother to stock them.

I have searched most of the camera / Hardware / everything type shops in my local area. I guess Ritz are in the US (and I'm in the UK). I'll see if they have such things on their website...

a fairly comon brand here that you find a lot in almost any store that sells albums is Pioneer, I know they offer those as replacements or a seperate item like i said if you can find someone who sells them. heres a link to their website http://www.pioneerphotoalbums.com/

if taht doesn't work- have you tried a scrapbooking type store? I do that as a hobby too and have bought many adjustable albums like that.
