This photo was taken on Coon Lake towards the west end of the park (near rock lake). It was a beautiful campground. Next year I might do some deep woods camping.

Ah, I have never actually seen Coon Lake ... I have canoed Whitefish and Rock lakes, and been to Rock Lake campground ... didn't think of looking at that lake.

You should plan a canoe trip down to Clydegale Lake (take Rock lake and keep going south).
My wife and I did an interior trip down there for four days ... only saw one other canoe on that lake ... was a great trip.
