How did you shoot it? Flash bouncing from ceiling? how the black background?

it was shot while we we skated some rail next to a Jewish religius neighborhood .
after a cuple of mins like 5 or 6 kids started runing to us and asking us questions about skating + my camera and wanting me to take shots of them and even talked to us and asked where they could see it ,
they were 3-5 years old .
was shot with 10-20 lens and a flash that bounces from the side
