Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have had my camera a few months now. And while I don't get to use it as often as I would like I have taken a 101 type class and been trying to learn as much as I can.

Here are three pictures I took early on with my camera.

I am wondering if you guys are seeing a preference either way and if I could get some feedback on what you see.

Any feedback (constructive please) would be appreciated. I would love to know what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong.

I know that I still have a lot to learn and am really trying to improve my abilities.

The last one made me laugh. the farmers sign with the city buildings in the background.....classicl

#1 is really nice

I dont like the rest but mostly due to your processing style.

There is no discernible difference between then and now.

In the now photos, are the color casts (photos aren't numbered) post processing or white balance errors?

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing?

Not a white balance error because I did it on purpose. I shot the originals normally and then processed them using lightroom effects.

I guess I should have posted non altered images in the first place. Otherwise you can't fairly judge how I am doing while taking the pictures.

I have added more above. All of them in full manual mode. It was my first time using the metering in the camera to adjust the settings by. White balance is something that I still struggle with. On the day the newer photos were taken it was an overcast and sort of gloomy day.

#6 and #8 are the ones that caught my attenion. #6 has some cropping issues (IMHO) there is something goofy in the right side of the frame. it, and #8 just have a color cast that is not appealing to me. You seem to be using goood composition through, and they all look pretty good.

I like 1, 2, 6, and 18. (I'm not a fan of the yellow-greenish tint on 6 and 7 though, its a bit too much).

This is just an opinion from someone with little to no photography experience, but sometimes its good to get a different opinion.
