Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Saw this hovering outside my dorm the other day. There was a grease fire in one of the other dorms that unfortunately burned a man fairly badly as I've heard.

I was very happy with the chance to take the Photo though.

I did a good amount of work in post processing. Most of which was spent editing out dust spots. I really need to clean my lenses better. :er:

:D

Wow... a camera pod and everything! These guys are big time! Around here, we're used to seeing the photojournalist hang out of the helicopter and get a good case of vertigo! Makes for more interesting viewing of their footage though. :-) I like the color and that the rotor blades aren't completely frozen. In post, I think I'd adjust the levels a bit more and brighten the scene up just a touch.

nice shot, its really hard to get a shot like that

Getting the Helicopter crisp and blurring the rotor is the most challenging part of Photographing helicopters. I took this at around 250mm with a shutter time of about 1/60, hardly following that inverse law for camera shake with a telephoto ;)
