Amsterdam Marathon

Today was the Amsterdam Marathon day. I saw a little bit of it on our walk through the park. Running a marathon would not be my favorite way to spend a sunday afternoon. Those runners all looked like they were in pain. I hate pain.

Well, those who run marathons seem to LOVE it! My dad used to do this ... but his daughter did not. Never! I prefer to have four rolls in a line underneath each of my feet when it comes to "exploring the countryside" .

I personally prefer to have four wheels under my feet and an engine in front of me when I "explore the countryside" LOL

I hate pain as well.
I do like the look on the guy's face as the other one is passing him

After a few miles running, the body starts aching. As a countermeasure the body starts releasing its self-made painkillers: endorfines. Not unlike morphin.
Ever had a morphin shot? It's like the heavens open up.
Marathon runners do it for precisely that feeling. They are simply endorfin junkies... :greenpbl:
