An apology to TPF members.

Someone that I personally know on this site has brought it to my attention that I have offended a few folks on here.

I would just like to apologize for that publicly and say it is and was never my intent.

I will never apologize for my use of words. I say what I want, it's how I am. Regardless, I honestly do not wish to offend anyone ever. So that in mind, and reminding myself this is a place full of many people and ideas, I will make better use of my words in the future.

I forget at times that it is hard to detect tone in text form. While I may be full aware of my not so serious nature, others may not be as they simply don't know me. 90% of my late night postings are bs as I use the net as my playground when I'm bored. It's not an excuse by any means, just simply stating how I am. I'd like to think most can tell when I'm screwing around and when I'm serious. Sometimes not so much.

So, I'd rather not get into the details of such offenses, as there were a couple, not just the recent one most will be aware of. In any case, it's not important where or why, and I'd like to not see this thread turn into a crapfest. So mods feel free to lock it up if you like as I completely understand.

I did, however, feel I should publicly apologize if anyone was offended by any of my recent posts, words, or actions on here.

It is a sincere apology, and what you do with it is up to you. You can accept it, or not. Either way my conscious is clear as I've done the right thing from some wrong doings.

Its very difficult to take into consideration the feelings of others. Its even more difficult to own up to the things we may say that end up hurting others. I applaud you for doing so. I hope whoever you may have offended is kind enough to take your apology. You've been a good person as far as I can tell since you've been here. I didn't even know you had offended anyone. I should probably participate more. I bet I've been missing out on a lot. I hope you have a good evening.

me either, till it was brought to my attention by a buddy. lol. I handled it via PM, but just wanted to put this out there in case others were. It's the silent ones that can get upset and disappear and for no good cause. So I wanted to thwart any such thing just in case as this is a great place and I'd hate to see the lurkers be timid to participate due to such things.

We were in agreement on that first thread last night and then something was said that made it spiral downwards. I don't remember exactly 'cause I was in the "holiday spirit" myself. Then, the other thread toady was destined from the beginning to go down in flames. Move on as the rest of us will do. Don't sweat it, but FFS, don't start another one of these sappy threads. Rock on.

I think we are getting way to PC personally... but to each their own! It was a comedy to watch that mess last night... it killed my thread with it, and then it still went on and on and on...

Pally... you are ok in my book! Just watch what words you throw around... you can still be an A-hole without them! Trust me... I know! Use your wit and sarcasm to bust on people... not silly labels that are going to offend someone that isn't even involved because they get their unisexual panties in a wad!
