You have know Idea what it took to get this shot, well maybe you do. It was very difficult to keep the subject still. Let me know what you think.

Fuji S2 Nikkor 105mm 2.8 and an extintion tube thingy.

I am sure your DOF was razor thin, you breathed and had a heart beat plus your subject breathed and had a heart beat ... yes, it is EVER SO DIFFICULT to get something like this RIGHT. You might have to try again...

I don't think you have to resort to that. A tripod would help on your end, at least...unless you were already using one here. Then I don't know what to tell you. :|

have the subject lay on the ground with their head on the ground. This would prevent front to back movement. Then use a tripod to shoot down into their eye. Maybe that could work? I've always wanted to do a shot like this
