Hmm it seems a little bland to me. Also, it looks a bit out of focus. If you can reshoot, i'd try manual focusing, and perhaps getting a different angle so that the plant contrasts more with the background.

I don't know about having to photoshop it. I think photographers use photoshop as a crutch too much these days. Is it digital art or is it a photo??? So I appreciate the natural look this picture has. I would say it might pop more with a different background though. For instance if you took the shot at a different angle so the dark was behind the stem with snow on it instead of the snow being the background.
