I love shooting bands but sometimes the lighting crew gets way too excited about using every colored gel at their disposal. This resulted in doing a B&W conversion which I think does this guy far more justice as a band "portrait."

The lighting was pretty low key and as a result, I was shooting at ISO 12,800

Looks like the B&W conversion saved his badly weirded-out forearm! I LIKE the keyboard reflected in the eyeglasses, very nice bit of detail in that. I think this shot could be cropped a bit at the top and right hand side and be stronger.

Forearm had blue, red and magenta gels - really hard to make any decent compensation. Agree on the crop.

The crop factoring is tricky because if I take too much off the right side, I lose the other set of keys. I may toy with a 5:7 ratio.
