Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Today on a social media thread one of these came up as a memory from back in 2016. This kid amazes me, she was born with the ability to work the camera. Originally in color, I was never quite satisfied with them. I much prefer the B&W edit. As always C&C is w

Angelic is right! Her eyes are so beautiful. This is the little one you're always sharing with us, right? Great job, Grandpa!

Thanks Dean. Yes, she was just over 6 months old here. This was natural light from a window.

Nice work! Love the B&W coloring.

Very nice; you nailed the treatment here!

Hey thanks man! This was taken during my "golden" exploration time. It sounded like a good idea at the time, but the color version novelty wore off fast. I like the conversion much better.

Born to model! I like the conversion

Thanks CheryIl! Yup she was born with the "look". LOL

I love the way the second one captures the personality! Makes me smile.

Were you going for a toned photo instead of B&W? I see a definite magenta tint. To me if that's what you want it might need enough color so that it looks like it was purposeful, I can't quite tell if it was or not (especially since you referred to it as B&W). This type photo could look lovely as a toned B&W it's just hard to tell on here for sure.

She gets her expressiveness from her Dad. He was the same way at that age.

There is a mild split tone applied, and the effect was intentional. However it leans more toward a yellow/brown, then the typical reddish brown of a true sepia tone. The darker tint was to much for an image I wanted to remain ethereal, and a true gray scale to bright.

Oh shes a cutie...

And I bet a mischievous handful!

Great job!

Thank you! She has her moments, primarily mouth and attitude. She is an only child in an adult world so her vocabulary, and reasoning ability is advanced for a 3yr old, but by and large she is a sweetheart who has learned early that she has the ability to wrap Mimi and Papa around her finger anytime she wants.
