Thanks, folks. Don, the BG is a wall in my backyard. That one was at ISO 3200 and has been hit with a lot of NR -- I'm reluctant to do more as it then starts looking strange.

What are you using for NR ?

I ran it through Noiseware at 35% and it cleaned up quite a bit... but it was just starting to develop a halo around the birds body

I use Noiseware Pro and ran it twice on the BG. I don't usually use it on the bird itself as it gets muddy. I guess I should have tried a 3rd time
