I NEVER used strobe outdoors except at the beach. At this park Robin, I am not permitted to bring stands or any sort of reflector or I will be asked to leave...hope that answers your question?

That's what VALS are for. (Voice activated light stands).

Given the subject matter, I doubt that you've have any shortage of volunteers to hold lights, reflectors etc.

Id find a new park to shoot at. Ive never heard of this kind of BS. Most parks here just might make you pay but you can bring what ever you want for gear.

AS for the set, yeah some strobe action would have really helped. With the black dresses the contrast seems heavy and the background lighting is a bit blown out and harsh. Not feeling the first shot of them with the railing. Good pose but not the ideal spot. Find a classier stair case.
