That's funny, PT, now the two of us are here at the same time, posting photos of Northern Ireland .
In the second of your most recent contributions I can see that you, too, played around with your focus, putting the grass into the focus and the coastline not (cf. the "myoptic version" of my Giant's Causeway pic), which I like.
Only critisism would be for the second that you should also "play" a little with the line of your horizon. It should not be in the centre.
I'd crop out all the busy and quite distracting foreground of your otherwise very nice first picture (especially the SKY is very "Irish" ) - you might have to leave the street light and part of the wire, but I'd crop out everything else. Then it is a good picture, I say (but I'm not the expert here!)
