I've been under the weather, and had family problems to deal with so, it's been a tough getting time to finish the session I did with Little Bit. Gradually finishing up, and liked this one. C&C welcome

Thank you!! There's some blur already (it was turning) you can see parts of her coming through the pin wheel, but I might go back and some more for the heck of it.

@zulu42 and maybe I won't add blur. Went back in and played with the file a bit, quickly found that it was probably more work then I wanted to do. LOL Because it's at such an odd angle the radial blur didn't quite look right. I can fix it but the time to result may not be worth it, considering I've got a ton of other work to do.

As always, I really enjoy these images you do of your grand-daughter. Two minor niggles... (1) I wish you'd been a bit lower and looking more toward her; it doesn't feel as intimate looking down like this; and (2) the bare plywood in the background... begs for a table cloth or something on it.

And one more. Had to do a heavy crop and not the best on light, but with her and her expressions, sometimes you get what you get.

Thanks man, they're kind of a family project bringing everything together. However sometimes even catching her in focus is like catching a f....t in a hurricane. She was in one of those moods moving around a lot. Such was the case here, I had one from lower, but it was a miss. I guess I'm ambivalent about the height, as the higher angle also creates a more childlike/innocent feel. The "stand" is all unfinished wood meant to look rough, but I definitely missed the shelf. I even had a white paper cover for it, and forgot it

Bubbles and kids should be fun, maybe make for some action shots (defintely will make for some action anyway!).

In this set, the one with a sparkly thing to her left is hard to make out what it is and it's kind of sticking into the side of the photo, might have been better moved in closer or out of the frame. I think something like a brick background can make the angle/perspective more noticeable.

The face is priceless in the second one! Just needed to be framed lower so her fingers were completely in the photo, and would've helped to have someone check/arrange the hair after putting on the hat. Of course none of that may last for long, young ones are just too much on the move.

You could try doing test shots with a teddy bear stand-in or something! and figure out something to use as a physical 'cue' as to where to stand. We often used carpet squares at school (probably donated by local paint & carpet stores), or soft plasticky circles that were in the gym equipment; depending on the stage & age it helps young children to show them where to stand/sit (and they'll only stay so long!).

I think the posed photos will work better when she's older, she's probably just still at that active stage. You did get some fun expressions!
