another gimp question, help

well I was trying to download gimp last night, went to the site and try to down load gimp and all i got was the installer. so how do you download gimp? is there only one version or do i have to down load a few? it say there the gimp 2.4 . please help

yea.. you have to open the installer... and it will install it...

that should be all you need to install it.
