Another MOON photo for C+C

Hello all. I have a moon photo for review.

It was shot with a old Nikon 75-300mm lens. The camera was a Nikon D5000 on a tripod.

I had to crop the heck out of it, but here it is for review:

The ISO was at 400, the shutter speed was at 1/800, and the aperture was f/5.6

The lens of course was extended to 300mm.

I'm looking to beef up my zooming capability's and the 300mm certainly looks the business!! Really love the detail mate....spot on!!

Great shot!

I find that the quality of moon-photos has more to do with the condition of the atmosphere then the lens. Many people live in areas where they could NEVER get a shot that crisp, and they blame it on the lens.

I agree. But I like the extra detail the over sharpening brought out.
