I was going to play the guessing game but most of you knew my current situation since I got scammed haha.

I am still currently fighting the Paypal Dispute, which takes 2 weeks I think.

But I found some other people who were scammed by the same person and we all have together and tracked this person down and found out where they live and everything.

The State Police have been notified and once they get all their information together, a warrant will be out for their arrest.

So far I've found 5-6 people they have scammed.

Now onto the good news.

I found one online from Competitive Cameras and they 'magically' got a shipment in the morning I emailed them. Faint? Luck?

the warrant serves them right. Ridiculous to think you can scam people just because you find them in a forum instead of fleabay or etc. Hate that you're dealing with all that--at least you know you'll eventually get your money back via paypal


also-congrats on finally getting the lens. I just picked up a used Sigma 150-500 and am thrilled with it

This is why I won't touch paypal anymore, even if I actually could use it. Way too many loopholes that scammers are all over. It's getting out of control.

i always buy things thru my credit card so I have another avenue of recourse
